What is Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorder?

Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorder affects the muscles and joints of the jaw. It can cause:

  • Headaches
  • Earaches
  • Neck and back pain
  • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
  • Clicking and pain in jaw

It may be caused by:

  • Missing or crooked teeth
  • Teeth grinding
  • Malocclusion
  • Overbite
  • Head or neck injuries
